Privacy notice

What we do with your information.

Plain English, because a privacy notice you can’t read isn’t worth much. Last updated 19 September 2026.

Who we are

Go To Many CIC is the data controller for the information described here. We are a community interest company registered in England and Wales.

What we collect, and why

Only what we need to do the thing you asked us to do.

  • When you contact us: your name, email address, what you’re getting in touch about, and anything you write in the message. We use it to reply to you.
  • When you book a workshop or training place: your name, email, phone number and which session you want. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
  • When you join the Parent Journey: your child’s year group and how they are getting on, so we can match support to where they actually are.
  • If you upload a school report: we read it, give you feedback on it, and keep it only for as long as you are in the programme. See below.

Information about children

Some of what we hold is about a child rather than about you. We treat that with more care, not less.

  • We only collect information about a child from their parent or carer.
  • We do not ask children for information directly, and our services are bought and arranged by adults.
  • School reports and progress notes are visible only to the people supporting your child. They are not shared with other families or with schools without your say-so.
  • You can ask us to delete anything about your child at any time, and we will.

Our lawful basis

  • Consent: for anything you volunteer, such as a school report or a progress update. You can withdraw it whenever you like.
  • Contract: where you have booked and paid for a place, we need your details to provide it.
  • Legitimate interests: replying to an enquiry you sent us, and keeping basic records of what we delivered.

Who else sees it

A short list, and no one beyond it.

  • Tutors we refer you to: only the details needed to arrange and deliver the tutoring, and only once you have asked us to make the introduction.
  • Stripe, for card payments.
  • Our email provider, because that is how we reply to you.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing here to consent to, which is why you have not been asked.

Our web host keeps standard server logs, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file. Nothing on this site identifies you.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Programme records, including school reports: while you are in the programme, and for 12 months afterwards.
  • Financial records: six years, because HMRC requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • Show you what we hold about you or your child
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop using it in a particular way, or send it to you in a portable format

Email info@gotomany.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month. There is no charge.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your details, we will email you about it.
